Our core products in the industrial category are manholes, catch basins, median barriers, utility vaults, wingwalls/headwalls and lagging. These products are typically underground structures used for drainage and utility services, with the exception of median barriers and lagging.

Median barriers are most generally recognized for their use as traffic dividers, however they have also been commonly used as bulk material separators and utility pole storage racks. Carr Concrete’s standard median barrier is supplied in 10’ long sections, with shorter sections available upon request.

Lagging are used in conjunction with steel H-piles to provide ground stabilization. These types of walls over the years have generally been referred to as “soldier pile walls” and utilized timber beams. Precast lagging's superior strength and durability, along with design flexibility have nearly replaced the use of timber beams. Lagging are available in a wide variety of sizes and thickness.
