Carr Concrete began in 1974 as Marietta-Wilbert, Inc. of Marietta, OH. The original (and only) product was precast concrete burial vaults. In the 1980’s the company began to diversify into other precast products including agricultural products, septic tanks and cisterns. In 1998, Carr entered the bridge beam and box culvert business with the completion of a 16,000 square foot facility. In 2001, R.W. Sidley, Inc. of Painesville, OH purchased Carr Concrete.
A new dock facility was soon thereafter completed, increasing Carr’s ability to manufacture larger custom products.

In addition to our standard product line, Carr has the ability to manufacture a variety of custom products. We can fabricate up to 80,000 lbs in a variety of shapes and sizes. Larger pieces can be produced if they can be delivered by barge.

Our parent company R.W. Sidley, Inc. was established in 1933 as a mining and manufacturing company. Since then we have continued to build our company through the development of high quality products derived from our original core products of silica sand and bank gravel.
